All You Need to Know

Mixed Age Groups

Our toddlers and pre-schoolers (from 19 months to less than 6 years old) are cared for under the new mixed-age group category recently approved by the Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulation. Learn more about what this entails and how we accommodate different needs.

Routine & Menus

Review our daily schedule and routine activities, which includes meals, free play indoors and outdoors, snack time, and nap time. We also have our three different weekly menus available to download, which are rotated on a weekly basis.

Forms & Documents

Find all of the documents and forms necessary for enrolling your child in Tamarack Common Daycare. These include our Parents' Handbook, Registration Agreement, Transportation Agreement, and portable record for the child that includes all contact information.

We follow a daily routine that includes snacks, meals, free play, indoor and outdoor activities, and nap or quiet time.

Healthy food helps children learn, grow and develop.   We serve meals and snacks that are healthy and nutritious in accordance with Canada’s Food Guide to ensure our children will have balanced nutrition to meet their nutrient requirements.   If there are any concerns or dietary restrictions that your child has, please let us know so we can try our best to accommodate! ​

Forms & Documents

Interested in registering your child at Tamarack Common Daycare? The forms and documentation that you will need to complete and provide are available online.

Before completing the forms, Tamarack Common Daycare will meet with any prospective parents to discuss their child's needs and how the daycare can accommodate them. Afterwards, different agreements will be signed as part of the registration process. You can review the forms and their contents below:

  • The Parent Handbook contains our mission and philosophy, our operations, our policies, our services, and anything else you would need to know about childcare at Tamarack Common Daycare.

​

  • The Registration Agreement is the form that indicates the agreement to the terms and conditions of registration. 

​

  • The Transportation Agreement covers the information about the child's school bus pick-up and drop-off locations. 

​

  • The Portable Record is how personal information about the child and family will be kept.
